Here’s how it works: follow the growing list of offerings here. Read the offerings in advance and compare with your own calendar; make a priority list of events and items you want to sign up for or bid on. Check the list frequently for it grows each day.

Events (E) are happenings with a given date and set price (like the dinners). A limited number of people may sign up. Sheets for these signups will be on the left side of sanctuary.

Silent auction(SA). Here donated items are sold to the highest bidder. There is a sheet for each item for bidders to compete by writing in their bid and upping the previous bid, so keep watch and keep bidding. SA tables will be off to the right as you enter the sanctuary. Items must be submitted well in advance on our listings and we must receive it for display on April 17, between 1-3 PM.

Services offered (SO)

Live Auction (LA) begins at 6 PM. There will be about a dozen of these most desirable items auctioned to the highest bidders. This can get really exciting.

On April 17 get there on time and don’t delay. Register and get your bid number. Sign up for events that interest you and then enjoy a free Chili supper from 5-6 PM. It is a good idea to have a calendar with you to keep track of dates. Then stay for the Live Auction from 6-7:30 and keep watch on the silent auction progress. Silent Auction closes 15 minutes after Live Auction. Enjoy the wine and be generous – it all goes to help support our church.

After your children have eaten in the sanctuary, you may take them downstairs for lots of supervised fun kid activities.

Can't come? Get a proxy to sign up for you!

Available in the church about two weeks after the auction will be personalized ist for you of the items that you offered, the names of the persons who "purchased" them, and a list of items you purchased about two weeks after the auction. Please watch for and pick up your list.

Payment. We appreciate it if you can pay as soon as you receive a list of the items you bought, usually a week or two after the auction. Write your check to UUCP with service auction on the memo line, that way you won’t forget to pay later.
